WHO: Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks
WHAT: Antetokounmpo, in his fourth season with the Milwaukee Bucks, was the 15th overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft and currently leads Milwaukee in points (20.6 ppg), rebounds (8.6 rpg), blocks (1.9 bpg) and steals (1.8 spg). He participated in the 2015 NBA Africa exhibition game in Johannesburg, South Africa and was voted the league’s top international player in the NBA.com 2016-17 GM Survey.
NBA rosters at the start of the 2016-17 season featured 113 international players from 41 countries and territories, surpassing previous records for international players (101) and countries and territories represented (39), which were set at the start of the 2014-15 and 2013-14 seasons, respectively.
