Oakland
A’s left-handed pitcher Sean Nolin was claimed off waivers by the Milwaukee
Brewers, the club announced today. Nolin was designated for
assignment Feb. 12 when the A’s acquired Khris Davis from the Brewers.
Nolin
spent half of the 2015 season on the disabled list as he had one stint on the
DL with Oakland and two with Triple-A Nashville. He made his A’s debut
during a September call-up and went 1-2 with a 5.28 ERA and .302 opponents
batting average in six starts. The 26-year-old left-hander also went 2-2
with a 2.66 ERA in 14 games, including 12 starts, with Nashville.
