San Francisco Giants Notes
HOME OPENERS: The Giants improved to 13-4 record (.765) at AT&T Park (since 2000)...SF has now won 13 of their last 16 home openers.
ALL THE RUNS: SF’s 12 runs today are the most they have scored in a home opener since April 8, 1999 when they also scored 12 against San Diego.
OFFENSIVE WAKEUP: The Giants offense went just 3-for-15 (.200) with no runs scored through the first 4.0 innings in today’s contest and then erupted to go 14-for-24 (.583) with 12 runs in the final 4.0 frames.
GRAND SALAMI: OF Hunter Pence launched his sixth career grand slam in the 8th inning…his last grand slam came on July 10, 2015 vs. Philadelphia.


Los Angeles Dodgers Notes
SCORELESS INNINGS STREAK: The Dodgers’ scoreless innings streak was snapped in the 5th inning…LA’s 31.0-consecutive scoreless frames to begin the season is the second longest streak in Major League history behind the 1963 St. Louis Cardinals (32.0-scoreless innings).
